RULERS ROCK SEPTEMBER 2016 Supply List Sewing machine and MANUAL Tabletop surface like a Sew Steady table to give you lots of space to stitch Specialty ruler foot from Westalee Your machine’s regular free-motion foot Screwdriver (nice beefy one to tighten the foot) Basic ruler set from your first class Scissors or thread snips Quilting gloves (if you desire) Marking pen or pencil Self-threading needle 12” ruler and 6” square ruler Thread or threads to contrast with your fabric RULERS TO ORDER PRIOR TO CLASS: CORNER MARK CIRCLE SET OF 3 RULERS – 4, 6, & 8. Be certain Melissa knows what style rulers you need for your machine. BEFORE CLASS PREPARE THE FOLLOWING: Quilt sandwich which has been spray basted with top, batting, and backing. This can be one piece approximately 1/2 yard (plus another 1/2 yard for backing), or several smaller sandwiches. Solid fabric is best so you can see your markings and stitches.
