Game Rules 1. Each team will have 8 players on the field for either offense or defense. But if needed can play with only 7 players. 2. Every player on offense will be eligible for a pass or running play. The first down yard to gain lines will be on the 25, 50, & 25 yard lines. (marked by orange cones or flags) 3. There will be no automatic rush, upon the snap the pass-rusher / d-line will begin his count- “Out loud to be heard by QB-&-referee (i.e. 1000-1, 1000-2, 1000-go), 4. All tags must be with both hands at the same time. On fourth down the offense does not have to declare either play or punt, but if the team is punting then only the two ends may release until the ball is kicked. 5. The defense must send at least one rusher on each play. 6. There will be no fumbles, the ball will be dead at the spot where the ball was fumbled and not where it landed (the Ken Stabler rule), with the team who fumbled regaining possession. Unless it was 4th down & they did not make the yard to gain line. 7. After all scores the team that scored will have 2 minutes to kick off to start the next drive. If either the kicking or receiving team is not ready within this time period it will result in a delay of game penalty. 8. The only fumble that will be live is the snap between the center & quarterback. If the quarterback drops the snap or it misses him totally, the ball will be live & the defense can recover, but not advance. If he tucks and runs or is scrambling, then fumbles it will be dead at the spot of the fumble. 9. There will be no fumbles on either kickoffs or punts. The ball will be dead where the receiver muffed it. 10. Onside kicks will be allowed. The ball must travel 10 yards before the kicking team can recover it, unless the receiving team touches it and does not recover it. The kicking team can advance an onside kick. 11. Touchdowns will count for 6 points. Extra points will be as follows. 1 point for a converted play from the 3-yard line. 2 points for a converted play from the 10-yard line. If the defense intercepts any point after try and returns it to the other end zone, they will receive double of what the attempt was worth (i.e. 1 point will be worth 2 points, & 2 points will be worth 4 points) there will be no kicking of extra points. 12. No crack back blocks will be allowed. First offense will be a personal foul. Second offense by any member of the same team will be an ejection. If the game is tied at the end of regulation. Both teams will be brought out for the coin toss. The winner will have the option of going on offense or defense. The ball will be placed on the 10-yard line, with the offense getting 4 downs to score. If they fail to score, then the defense will get their turn. If the first team scores the second team will get their chance, so each team has an equal opportunity to score. If a team scores, then they will be given the opportunity to go for the extra point. If the defense intercepts any play the play is dead & it will be first and 10 for the defense.
