This 5K course through the parks and neighborhoods of east Washougal originates and concludes at the High School’s Fishback Stadium. The course is fairly easy with some mild elevation changes. It is well marked and staffed by volunteers should you need assistance.

Throughout his life, Steve was known for his love for the people around him. He was always helping a needy friend or giving generously to meet the needs of people. It is our privilege to dedicate Gateway’s Run For The Hungry to the memory of our friend, Steve.

In consideration of the acceptance of my application for entry in the Gateway’s Run for the Hungry, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, waive and release any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury, loss of property or property damage that I may have, or that may subsequently accrue to me, or to my heirs, executors, administrators or assigns, as a result of my participation in the Gateway’s Run for the Hungry on November 24, 2016. I hereby discharge and release in advance the Gateway Community Church, its officers, directors, and employees, and the organizers, sponsors, and volunteers of the Run from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in the above-mentioned Run, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above. I voluntarily assume all risk of loss, damage or injury that may be sustained while participating in the abovementioned event. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for this kind of event. I agree that medical or other services rendered to me by, or at the instance of, any of the persons or entities mentioned above, is not an admission of liability to provide or to continue to provide any such services, and is not a waiver by any of the persons or entities mentioned above of any right under this waiver and release. I grant to Gateway Church the right to take photographs of myself (and any minors I may also be registering) in connection with the Run For The Hungry. I authorize Gateway Church to copyright, use, and publish the same in print and/or digital form for any lawful purpose including publicity, illustration and web content.

The love of our Lord Jesus compels us to demonstrate the grace of God in both word and deed. The Run is meant to be a practical expression of God’s love for the people of Washougal and Camas.

WHERE
The Run begins and ends at Washougal High School’s Fishback Stadium. See the attached map. Parking is available in the High School’s main lots. Watch for ‘fun run’ parking signs.
HOW
Participating takes just three simple steps: 1. Register by providing participant information and payment. 2. Check in by providing a signed waiver for each participant and pick up your race number and t-shirt. 3. Run! Walk! Feed the hungry!
