Carl Zumwalt’s 86 yr. old mom has been cured of her NonHodgkin's lymphocytic leukemia. Praise God!! Praise God for our incredible church family and for His abundant blessings. God is good!

Children’s Ministry Workshop - The NAD will be providing a Children’s Ministries workshop at Gem State Academy October 7-9. This workshop will benefit those working as Sabbath School leaders & teachers, Vacation Bible School leaders & staff and Adventurer leaders & staff. Memorial Service - A special service to celebrate Cherie’ Richard’s life will take place, this afternoon at 4:00 pm, at the Nampa SDA Church in the “park” (the grassy lawn) just south of the parking lot. The family has requested that you wear something that is full of color in memory of Cherie’s energy and joy of life. Cherie’s favorite color was red; please feel free to wear it in her honor. In lieu of gifts for the family, please consider donating to offset the families financial expenses. You can do so by marking a tithe envelope “Cherie’ Richards” to make a non-tax-deductable donation to the family.
Stepping Stones Early Childhood Center - Stepping Stones is our child care and preschool that is associated with Caldwell Adventist Elementary School. They are always looking for ways to keep costs low so that parents can afford these muchneeded services. One way of doing this is by getting help from their constituent church families. Throughout the year they would appreciate donations of fruits and vegetables that they can use as healthful snacks for the children. Suggestions are apples, oranges, bananas, carrots, celery, peaches, etc. Please contact Deborah at 454-6577 for additional information.
Work Bee at GSA Gardens - Tomorrow from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, GSA Garden staff will be preparing the strawberry beds for winter. They have two rototillers but if you can bring a rototiller, the work will go much faster. For more information, please call LeeAnn at 760-384-8763. Attention All Deaconesses - Karel Knigge will be having a deaconesses meeting following potluck next week, October 1. Please plan on attending this very important meeting. Fall Open House at the ABC - The open house will be Sunday, October 2 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Free hotdogs and chili will be provided from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and there will also be a bounce house for the kiddos. Come on out and join in on the fun. His Name Was John - John the Beloved? John the Revelator? John the Evangelist? Come join Robin Russell in a study of the life and writings of John. The new Bible study group will be meeting in the Chapel starting October 6, at 7:00 pm.
