SAC Newsletter Office and Locker Allocations Procedures and Deadlines: All office key codes and locker locks will be reset and removed on Friday May 13th at 12:00PM. Please make sure all your club’s belongings are removed by this time. If you are vacating a locker, please return your lock to the AMS Administrative Desk at 3500 in the Nest to receive your $25 deposit. Only the person who made the deposit will be able to pick it up. If you are reassigned to your current locker, you are not required to return your lock. A cleaning fee of $50 for offices and $25 for lockers will be assigned to your club account if your club’s belongings are not removed or if your club’s area is untidy. If you were assigned an office or a locker, your club’s authorized treasurer can pickup your key code or lock on Monday May 16th from the AMS Administrative Desk at 3500 in the Nest. A $25 deposit is required for locks. If you were reassigned an office, your club’s authorized treasurer can pickup your new key code on Monday May 16th as well. Tenancy Agreements are due by May 31 on OrgSync. Before bring items over from old offices or lockers, executives should check to be sure there are no pests or insects living in the equipment. Please check OrgSync before picking up your codes, as there may be some minor changes.

Reminders Please make sure that you update your roles and titles on OrgSync. We have a new constitution process that will be going live next week. If your club has been deconstituted in the past, you must follow the new process for reconstitution. Check the AMS website for more information!

OLD SUB FURNITURE GIVE AWAY

FINCOM NEWS TREASURER’S AUTHORIZATION & ORIENTATIONS: Reminders for all the clubs to have their treasurers undergo the treasurer’s authorization process, as this is a vital this is vital for the upcoming fiscal year! All the necessary documents are on OrgSync! Additionally we will be hosting treasurer’s orientations every week, the schedule for which will be posted up on OrgSync as well. Don’t forget to RSVP and attend, it is a fantastic way to familiarize yourself with the necessary procedures and responsibilities as the role of treasurer!

In the spirit of sustainability and reuse, the AMS is offering to clubs and Constituencies a chance to go through the Old SUB on Thursday May 19th from noon to 4:00PM and buy furniture at a heavily discounted rate. In order to manage this fairly, we have the following guidelines for you to observe:



Only take what you will use, otherwise let someone else have it.



The offer is first come first served.



Please register at the desk on the designated open house day. A detailed information package will be given to you along with a group number.



The furniture is being given away “As is”.

BUDGETS: All club budgets will be finalized by July 1st and the budget submissions will be due on October 1st. SQUARE: We will have Square orientations set up in the coming weeks, these are great to help you familiarize with the Square software and will run you through the process of using the application successfully. We encourage everyone to RSVP for the orientations, all the events will be posted on OrgSync!

It’s important to remember that this opportunity is not intended for clubs to bring the old, used furniture from the SUB into the Nest. We are offering this to clubs first so they can bring over items they may find useful on a regular basis, not to allow them to bring over things they might need or would like to store. Items brought over to the Nest will be heavily policed. If you cannot pick up your furnishings the day of the sale, you can come back for pickup on either May 19th or 24th.
