Head Couch for California State University, Monterey Bay Coach Kerri, who played at Archbishop Mitty High School and then the University of San Diego, took over at CSUMB in 2013 after spending eight years as an assistant coach at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Kerri spent the past eight seasons helping Cal Poly become a perennial Big West Conference contender. The Mustangs captured the Big West regular season titles in 2011 and 2012 before earning an NCAA Tournament bid by winning the conference championship tournament. Kerri served in a variety of capacities on the Cal Poly staff, including player development, academic advising and recruiting. In fact, she helped spearhead the recruiting efforts that produced the past four consecutive Big West Conference players of the year.

Also as a senior for the Golden Bears, she set the Pac-10 single-season record for 3-point shooting (.524) while earning all-conference second-team honors. KI was a four-year starter in Berkeley, as well as a three-time Pac10 All-Academic honoree. She departed the program ranked fourth in school history in 3-pointers made (122), seventh in games played (115) and ninth in assists (317). She prepped at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, CA and was the standout point guard on the undefeated 1999 team that won a Division 1 state title. She played for the CYS Organization, SJ Ninjas and SJ Zebraettes.
