SACI® 2550
SACI® 2550 Severe Atmospheric Corrosion Inhibitor SACI® 2550 is an optimal synthetic sodium sulfonate blend functioning as a surfactant, dispersant and rust inhibitor. The hydrophilic sodium sulfonate portion of the molecule functions as a typical anionic surfactant orienting itself with water, other polar materials or high energy surfaces while the hydrocarbon tail provides the bridge to the hydrophobic phase.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Corrosion Preventative High molecular weight sodium sulfonates strongly absorb to metal surfaces and provide an excellent moisture barrier. SACI® 2550 is formulated in a high flash base and thus can be formulated where low volatility and high flash and fire resistance are required. SACI® 2550 can be formulated with petroleum oils, waxes, petrolatums and various synthetic materials. Dispersants in Oil Systems SACI® 2550 is an excellent choice for dispersing and plasticizing debris in oils systems.
