Salem Cross Country Youth Camp This camp is designed to promote the fun and excitement of cross country in a positive environment. We want to teach athletes about the sport and help them be the best runners they can be. The intensity of the camp will be appropriately adjusted to the ability of the athlete. The spirit and enthusiasm will be consistent throughout the camp. This camp is designed to parallel the philosophy of the high school program but on an appropriate training level for younger athletes. There is no requirement for pre-camp training, but an active athlete will likely be better prepared. On Friday, July 28th, an inter-camp meet will be held on the grounds of PlymouthCanton Educational Park. Fifth and sixth-graders will run 1.5 miles and seventh through ninth-graders will run two miles.
