Sarah See the attached. I’m not sure this helps. Also see a letter I sent Duke regarding their landfill. 1.     Closure cost estimate = third party cost estimates to close all currently unclosed areas of the landfill that are (a) permitted and (b) constructed. 2.     Post closure cost estimate = third party costs to maintain a closed landfill consisting of all currently closed areas + all currently unclosed areas of the landfill that are (a) permitted and (b) constructed, for 30 years. 3.     Potential assessment and corrective action costs = a cost estimate related to potential assessment and corrective action costs. The Division requires a cost estimate for any ongoing corrective action plan, as well as cost estimates for landfill gas monitoring, groundwater monitoring, and maintenance (30 year closure period).  If these cost estimates are below $3,000,000 the Division requires the Facility to post the minimum amount of $3,000,000. Note: On the one year anniversary of the potential assessment and corrective action cost financial assurance mechanism, the cost estimate will be reviewed by the Division to determine if this facility needs to provide more financial assurance than the minimum $3,000,000. Total FA = 1. + 2. + 3.
