Class A, B & C to be judged in accordance with BSPS rules, except ponies need not be plaited and riders may be any age, provided they are a suitable size for the pony they are riding at the judge's discretion. You may enter more than one class. NOT BEFORE 9.30 CLASS 1. BSPS Tiny Tots Stakes. Ponies not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. CLASS 2. BSPS Novice Nursery Stakes. Ponies not exceeding 133cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. CLASS 3. BSPS Cradle Stakes (non qualifier). Mare or Gelding, 4 years old or over not exceeding 122cms Riders not to have attained their 11th birthday before 1st January in current year. CLASS 4. BSPS Open Restricted Nursery Stakes not exceeding 133cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Class 9 - BSPS Mixed Height Class For Open (Restricted) WHP / W.H - Not Exc 158cms. Competitors Must jump in their correct height section and be the correct age for the height of the animal they ride. In a mixed height class riders may ride more than one animal, providing the animals are of a different height. Riders must declare if they are competitng in the 153cms or intermediate secton. Class will be split if sufficient entries

RULES 1. AGE OF RIDERS AS PER THE 2018 B.S.P.S. RULE BOOK. - CLASSES ARE QUALIFIERS FOR THE 2017 BSPS WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW. THE 1ST, 2ND & 3RD PRIZE WINNERS WILL QUALIFY IN THE NOVICE CLASSES. IN THE MIXED HEIGHT NOVICE CLASSES 1ST, 2ND, 3RD & 4TH PRIZE WINNERS WILL QUALIFY. IN THE OPEN/RESTRICTED CLASSES THE THREE HIGHEST PLACED RESTRICTED ANIMALS WILL QUALIFY AND IN THE MIXED HEIGHT OPEN/RESTRICTED CLASSES THE FOUR HIGHEST PLACED RESTRICTED ANIMALS WILL QUALIFY. (RIDERS ON RESTRICTED ANIMALS MUST WEAR AN ARMBAND. 2. RULES FOR RESTRICTED QUALIFICATION IN THE OPEN NURSERY STAKES & OPEN WORKING HUNTER PONY/INTERMEDIATE W.H. CLASSES RESTRICTED OPEN NURSERY STAKES – Animals eligible for the Restricted Nursery Stakes Class must NOT have been placed 1st to 8th at the R.I.H.S. Class in 2016 / 2017 / 2018. RESTRICTED OPEN WORKING HUNTER PONY/INTERMEDIATE W.H. -Animals eligible for the Restricted W.H.P. Or Rest Int. must not have been placed 1st to 8th at the R.I.H.S. Or H.O.Y.S. 3 RULES FOR RESTRICTED QUALIFICATION IN THE HERITAGE W.H.P. CLASSES Animals eligible for the Restricted Heritage W.H.P. Classes must not have been placed 1st to 8th at the R.I.H.S. Or H.O.Y.S in the Heritage M & M classes in 2016/2017/2018. 4 RESTRICTED QUALIFICATION CARDS TO BE PRESENTED IN THE RING TO PONIES THAT QUALIFY FOR THE RESTRICTED CLASSES, THESE CARDS TO BE SENT IN WITH ENTRIES FOR THE WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS. 5. ANIMALS MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE THE DATE OF THE SHOW AT WHICH THEY QUALIFY FOR THE WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS AND MUST BE RIDDEN BY A BSPS MEMBER, EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF EXHIBITORS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN MEMBERS BEFORE WHO ARE ALLOWED 7 DAYS IN WHICH TO BECOME A MEMBER AND REGISTER THEIR PONIES, PROVIDING THEY HAVE A VALID JMB CERTIFICATE BEFORE THE DATE OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP THEY QUALIFY FOR. 6.Restricted / Open Classes will qualify for the BSPS Premier League at the BSPS Summer Champs. 7. HARD HATS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. 8. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. 9 .
