Participants under 18 must have parent or guardian signature. Pre-registration closes on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Onsite registration is available on race day if fields are not full (*see below). An additional $8 one time late fee will be added for onsite registration. Additional race categories $10. Race registration opens at 7:00 AM and closes 30 minutes before each scheduled race category start. All participants must hold a current USAC license and sign the waiver. One day licenses may be purchased for Cat 5 and W4 only. Race Registration and Start: Cull Canyon Regional Park From I-580 eastbound in Castro Valley, take the Grove Way exit. Turn to the north (left) on Grove Way. Turn left onto Cull Canyon Road and continue to the park entrance on the left hand side. From I-580 westbound, take the Castro Valley exit and continue west (left) on Castro Valley Blvd. to Crow Canyon Road. Turn right on Crow Canyon, then left on Cull Canyon Road and continue to the park entrance on the left.
Course and Format: Individual time trial on Cull Canyon Road. Ten mile course – five out, five back. Slightly elevation gain on the outbound with a big payoff on the return. Road is quiet, but open to traffic, so please race with caution. Start times will be posted on www.redkiteracing.com on Thursday, April 25th.
This event is held under USA Cycling permit and will proceed rain or shine. USAC rules in effect. Entry fee includes NCNCA and USAC surcharges, but not online registration fees. No refunds, but you may receive a credit for races you cannot attend by sending an email request to [email protected] on or before Wednesday on the week of the race. Prizes are Endless Cycles Gift Certificates unless otherwise noted. Prizes for each category are listed as minimum values. 2013 USA Cycling Race License required. One day licenses available for Cat 5 and W4 only. Each participant must sign a USAC waiver and if you are on a moving bicycle you must wear a helmet at all times. Registration opens at 7:00 AM and closes 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the race. *Up to ten spaces may be reserved in each omnium category for day of event registration. All other day of event registrations are for time only and will not be included in prize awards.
