Saturday Test Prep Academy December 2017 Dear Parents / Guardians: New York State and the New York City DOE have set higher learning standards for all students. The New York State ELA exam will be administered to grades 3 through 5 from April 11-13, 2018. The New York State Math exam will be administered to grades 3 through 5 from May 1-3, 2018. To support our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students, we are offering a self-sustaining Saturday Test Prep Academy. The course will focus on test sophistication skills in ELA and Math. The program provides students with a rigorous preparatory curriculum. Please note that the material used in the Saturday Academy is unique and separate from the material used in class. $175.00 due Friday December 22, 2017 (total cost includes ELA/Math Test Prep books for 10 weeks) Money order payable to PS 3 After School Center 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM

There will be no Saturday Academy on February 17th and February 24th * Enclose a deposit and completed tear-off in an envelope clearly marked SATURDAY ACADEMY with child’s name and class. * Transportation is parent/guardian’s responsibility. Supervision is not provided after 10:30am. * Missed sessions cannot be made up. * There will be no late registration * Refunds cannot be issued for students who do not complete the program. This is a self-sustaining program and staff is hired for the duration of the program. Students who begin the program after the start date are responsible for the full payment. Seats are limited. Students are selected on a first come, first serve basis.
