to benefit the Gary Dudley Memorial Scholarship Foundation INDIANA STATE POLICE LT. GARY DUDLEY, an avid bike rider, died on August 22, 2006. He was killed while participating in a charity bicycle ride to raise funds and awareness for the Indiana Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).
The Gary Dudley Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established to award college scholarships to children of police officers killed in the line of duty in Indiana. Through the foundation, Gary’s mission of assisting families of fallen officers will continue. To date, over $140,000 has been awarded to deserving students.
