Attention youth football organizations! In keeping with a decade-long Wofford tradition, all youth football players, coaches and cheerleaders in uniform will be admitted free to the September 18, 2010 Wofford football home opener vs. Union College at 7:00 pm!
NEW FOR 2010: Players, coaches, team moms and cheerleaders: Wofford will distribute complimentary tickets for ALL players, coaches and team moms to participating organizations in advance of the game! See your league administrator or coach for details. If you did not get a ticket in advance remember all kids 12 and under in a uniform or jersey are admitted free at Gibbs Stadium. Family & friends with a player or cheerleader: Purchase discounted adult tickets ($10) at the Gibbs Stadium ticket booths. “KID-CESSION” STANDS: All children age 12 and under may purchase fountain drinks, hot dogs, popcorn and candy for only $1.00 at specially marked “Kid-cession” stands! (Look for signs at the concession stands. Children must be present to order from the “Kid-cession” menu.) Register your team! Call 864-597-4110 or 597-4023 and pre-register your team to be eligible for: • Special group seating section (Pre-registration ensures your team and families sit together.) • Team/league name shown on scoreboard during 2nd Quarter. • Receive instructions taking the field pre-game to form the “tunnel” for the Terriers. • Opportunity to play in an “exhibition game” during pre-game or halftime. Only REGISTERED teams have the opportunity to play pre-game or at halftime. Sign-ups are based on date of registration and age of team. Wofford creates the match-ups based on this information. All teams play at their own risk. A maximum number of 12 teams have a chance to play on the field either pre-game or halftime.
