Save Energy With Our Nite Lockout Feature! Home • Controller Overview • GHK • RWL • Vent Boss By using the Nite Lockout feature of your GHK12X2, you can save energy and money! The Nite Lockout feature prevents all cool outputs (Cool 1, Cool 2...)from running during the NITE stage. If you start the NITE stage before sundown, you can bank heat that has collected during the day. Then, when Nite Lockout is activated, the fans will not turn on and the temperature will not be driven down. Instead, the house will conserve the heat from that day. By doing so, it also prevents the dehumidification cycle from working. To activate the Nite Lockout feature on your GHK12X2, follow these simple steps:
Press the "Menu" key until the display reads NTLo. (as shown to the right) Press the "Enter" key and either ON or OFF will display. Press the "1" key to toggle between ON and OFF. When the desired option is selected, press the "Enter" key.
