College Soccer Prep Camp April 20 th – 22nd 2012 Purpose of College Soccer Prep Camp: This prep camp is designed for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. Its purpose is to expose high school talent to collegiate soccer and to put them on a stage, in front of numerous coaches and recruiters, where they can showcase their ability. Players will be exposed to the highest level of coaching as well as seminars to increase their chances of playing at the next level.
What’s Included: Transportation from Nola to Delta State University Food & Accommodation Training with a NCAA college soccer team conducted by University Head Coach SAQ soccer specific training Swimming Pool workout 2 Showcase games played in front of collegiate coaches, scouts and recruiters Eligibility and recruitment presentations College Prep Camp T-Shirt
What to Expect:
Head Coach Matt Watts:
Selected players will experience life as a soccer student-athlete at Delta State University. They will eat, sleep and play soccer for two days whilst gaining an insight into the process of “getting recruited”.
Head Coach Matt Watts is amongst the youngest head coaches in the NCAA. The London, UK native has played professionally in the UK as well as collegiately in the U.S. Following an impressive career Coach Watts turned to coaching working under UWF Head Coach Bill Elliott before taking the reins at Delta State. Coach Watts is building a program to challenge on a national level.
Who we are: S&B KINESIS: S & B KINESIS are a Sports Performance and Management Company responsible for placing several kids in college soccer programs and professional clubs. They also specialize in soccer specific SAQ training.
Delta State University Men’s Soccer: Delta State University is located in Cleveland, Mississippi or what is also known as the “Jewel” of the Mississippi Delta. The Delta State Men’s soccer team is a top NCAA Division II program that competes in one of the toughest conferences in the nation, the Gulf South Conference. Delta State is the ONLY men’s soccer program in the state of Mississippi that competes at the NCAA Division II level.
