2017 Sailing Instructions except as herein varied. Further Instructions may be issued by VHF on Ch 37
CLASSES:
The fleet will start as one class.
START:
Single Start Procedure (SYC SI Attachment 3) WARNING SIGNAL PREPARATORY SIGNAL STARTING SIGNAL
HANDICAPS:
Ravenscar Cup– SYC Club Marsay Trophy – IRC
COURSE:
BAY RACES as defined in the 2017 SYC Sailing Instructions
TIME LIMIT:
1607; extended by 30 mins if any yacht finishes within the Time Limit.
RESULTS:
If no yacht finishes within the Time Limit, Finish times will be taken from the last rounding of Buoy No 2, if applicable.
PRIZES:
The Marsay Trophy will be awarded to IRC rated yachts, the Ravenscar Cup will be awarded to yachts with a SYC Club handicap but no IRC rating, Minimum of 4 starters to qualify for a trophy. Trophies to be presented at the annual Dinner Dance.

PRIZEGIVING: Flags will be presented shortly after Racing in the Clubhouse.
