Awards on Monday, October 23, 2017, 7 P.M. at: Mahall’s 20 Lanes, 13200 Madison Avenue For more information visit: www.lakewoodkiwanis.com and www.uptownlakewood.com The Kiwanis Club of Lakewood, Ohio & Uptown Lakewood 100% of registration fees received by Lakewood Kiwanis will support Kiwanis International’s “Eliminate” project. Kiwanis’ current global campaign for children - The Eliminate project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal/neonatal tetanus aims to raise $110 million and save the lives of 129 million mothers and their future babies. In partnership with UNICEF, Kiwanis is committed to eliminate this disease that kills one baby every nine minutes. By targeting this disease, Kiwanis will not only save lives, but also pave he way for other interventions that will boost maternal health and child survival among the poorest, most underserved women and children in the world. A series of three injections cost $1.80 will immunize both mother and future infants from suffering this terrible and agonizing death. _____
*Scarecrows to be on display by Thursday, October 5, 2017 through Sunday, October 22, 2017. *Participants are responsible for maintaining and caring for their scarecrow (i.e. repairs, bringing indoors or covering if necessary.
