Designed especially for countertops, the SCHIENE-STEP-EB provides a seamless edge protection to countertops fitted with a ceramic or stone tile covering. SCHIENE-STEP-EB can be used with virtually any tile in the showroom for endless design opportunities. In particular, today’s large-format tiles create countertops with minimal grout joints for a clean and uniform look. Combine with the durability and resistance of stainless steel profiles for countertops that are as functional as they are beautiful.

Staircases are high-traffic areas, and as such, unprotected tile edges are especially prone to chipping and breaking. SCHIENE-STEP-EB provides practical, durable, and sleek finishing and edge protection while effectively covering the sub-assembly or the top of the riser. Matching brushed stainless steel outside corners/end caps and connectors are also available.

Installing new, modern tile over an existing installation is a great way to freshen up a dated design without the effort associated to the removal of the existing tile. SCHIENE-STEP-EB is specifically designed for this type of application. Its “T” configuration effectively finishes and protects the edges of both the old and the new tile for a clean and durable finished result.
