REC Foundation Scholarship Program
The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation seeks to partner with select universities and colleges to establish a robust scholarship program that will encourage students to continue their education. The REC Foundation manages the VEX Robotics Competition, which serves: • • • • •

How to Become an REC Foundation Scholarship Provider
Thank you for your interest in becoming an REC Foundation Scholarship provider. To offer an exclusive scholarship to participants in the VEX Robotics Competition, managed by the REC Foundation, please complete the following steps: STEP 1: Complete the REC Foundation Scholarship Interest Form. This form is used internally by the REC Foundation to help us accurately track and describe the scholarship offering and to identify the proper contact person at your organization. Email:
[email protected]. STEP 2: Create the Scholarship Description. Write a short description of your scholarship offering, approximately 150 words, to be posted on the REC Foundation website – www.roboticseducation.org/scholarships. Please send any descriptions as Word files. Email:
[email protected]. STEP 3: Provide your organization’s logo in two formats if possible, (1) JPEG and (2) EPS. If your organization is a university, please provide the university logo and not one for the individual college or departments. Email:
[email protected]. Program Note: Unless otherwise discussed, your organization will receive the student applications, review them, select and notify winners, and administer funds. Once you have notified your winners, the REC Foundation staff will ask you to share information about your experience and provide the winning student’s name, VEX team name and team number, and the student’s intended course of study.
