School Uniform The School uniform is authorised by the Board of Trustees. It has been chosen by the Board of Trustees as being the best available under the criteria of durability, cost, practicality and design. • The wearing of the regulation school uniform is a condition of attendance. • The Board of Trustees has authorised the School to exercise the right to send home those students who are incorrectly dressed and do not have a satisfactory explanatory note from home. • Parents should ensure that all articles of clothing are named. • The Board of Trustees also exercises the right to amend or include items in the regulations if, and when, the need arises. • The uniform must be worn correctly to and from school. • Under no circumstances should items of school uniform be worn with other non-uniform items. Physical Education SHORTS Black regulation shorts. T-SHIRT Regulation black with relevant Whanau colour (Yellow, White, Red, Green). FOOTWEAR Activity appropriate. SCHOOL HAT Jackets POLAR FLEECE JACKET Regulation black polar fleece jacket. SHOWERPROOF JACKET Regulation black and green showerproof jacket. WINTER JACKET Regulation black fleece lined jacket. A plain black scarf or school scarf may be worn as part of the school uniform. Junior Girls – Years 9 and 10 SKIRT Regulation black skirt. Two style options available (below knee straight skirt and calf length pleated skirt). Length of skirts should not be below mid-calf or above the knees. BLOUSE Regulation green pinstriped short sleeved blouse. JERSEY Regulation green V-necked jersey. CARDIGAN Regulation green Cardigan. SOCKS Plain black socks without coloured bands. STOCKINGS Plain black coloured stockings. Black knee-high stockings are not permitted. FOOTWEAR Either: Black plain style shoes with dark soles and dark shoe laces. No other colour is permitted on the shoe. Heels to be no higher than 3cm. No platform soles. Or: Black sandals which must have a plain style open strap front and a single back strap. No other colour is permitted on the sandal. Sandals must not be thonged or have platform soles. Sandals must be worn without socks or stockings. Junior Boys – Years 9 and 10 SHORTS Regulation black shorts. SHIRTS Regulation green pinstriped short sleeved shirt. JERSEY Regulation green V-necked jersey.
