STEM Challenges National Engineering Week Challenge Rube Goldberg Challenge STEM Fair
In 4-H children gain leadership, citizenship and life skills. Parents and other caregivers deliver the 4-H programming, and become the best partners in the child's education to ensure success in life.
Throughout the year we offer trainings, workshops and materials for our dedicated volunteers to learn about new ideas in the STEM area and projects that they can bring back to the youth involved in their clubs. County-wide programs, clubs and activities bring youth together from different clubs to a main event. These events become information, skill, knowledge and social exchanges that promote further learning and personal growth. There are many opportunities for youth to participate in trips, camps and other educational endeavors offered outside of Orange County, such as STEM Camp; Career Explorations at Cornell University; and High School Graduation Scholarships.
