NARIMS Chapter is pleased to announce our third session this term, “Security Technology” providing you with an accomplished professional with significant background in dealing with security. He will demonstrate how Electronic Security is beneficial to an insured from a Risk Management and Loss Reduction perspective. He has been successful in having insurers amend their security warranties allowing for replacement of night watchmen with electronic technology. Kevin Cady’s involvement in security began as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces where he served as a communications specialist with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. Kevin joined Sonitrol, a verified electronic based Security Company in 2008 with his primary goal being to develop and implement an educational strategy to bring a greater awareness of verified security systems to the insurance and construction industries. Kevin’s presentation will guide us through the past and present of security both on Construction sites and in compounds and buildings. He will demonstrate how new electronic technology is an effective Risk Management and loss reduction tool as well as the overall cost benefits to utilizing electronic security.
