GENTLEMAN DISTILLER: DINNER AND TASTING
GEORGE WASHINGTON PATRIOT RUN
Learn more about Washington’s role as “Distiller in Chief.” Begin with a reception at George Washington’s Distillery then continue with a whiskey tasting and seated dinner at the Mount Vernon Inn. 6:30-9:45 p.m.
Lace up your running shoes for our annual 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run, starting outside the estate gate, traveling up the George Washington Parkway, and ending in the historic area. 8 a.m. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN AND ADMISSION TICKETS ON SALE.

FALL WINE FESTIVAL & SUNSET TOUR
Colonial artisans demonstrate 18th-century crafts and sell traditional wares while children enjoy magicians, puppet shows, and a balloon launch. 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sample wines from 20 Virginia wineries while enjoying breathtaking views from Washington’s home. VIP tables available. 6–9 p.m.

BREWING HISTORY: BEER TASTING, TOUR & DINNER
FALL HARVEST FAMILY DAYS
Learn how beer was brewed and enjoyed in early America and enjoy a delicious four-course dinner and specialty beer pairing at the Mount Vernon Inn. 6:30–9:45 p.m.
Celebrate autumn at Mount Vernon with wagon rides, a straw bale maze, 18th-century cooking demonstrations, corn husk doll making, and more. Sightseeing cruises are half price this weekend only. 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

TRICK-OR-TREATING AT MOUNT VERNON
HORSES & HOUNDS
Families enjoy trick-or-treating in the historic area and other fun and games on the grounds, including a costume contest. 3:30–6:30 P.M.
Hear the baying of hounds, the echo of hunting horns, and the thunder of horses’ hooves as Mount Vernon pays tribute to the father of the American foxhound, George Washington. 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
