September 7 Regular Night This week we will begin our Cubbie Handbook. Cubbies should come to club prepared to say their verse for Bear Hug 1. We will learn that the “A” on our vest stands for ALL, and that ALL have sinned. Our bible lesson will teach us the importance of obeying.
September 14 AWARDS Night Tonight we will move on to Bear Hug 2. This week we will focus on the “C” that is on our vest, and learn that the “C” stands for CHRIST. We will learn about CHRIST and his great love for us! At the end of club at 8:10pm, you are invited to watch as we will be presenting the cubbies with their first awards of the year. If they have said their verses thus far, they will receive a HoneyComb Trail patch and a red apple patch. These patches will be placed on your child’s vest during club tonight. Please make sure you congratulate your cubbie and check out their vest when you pick them up!
September 21 Crazy Sock Night and Parent Night Bear Hug 3 will be covered this week which will teach us more about our Magnificent Creator. Tonight will be especially fun as we kick off our shoes and have club in our socks! Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate also and join us for the entire night. Come see what your cubbies are busy doing each Wednesday! The entire AWANA club will be collecting new socks to donate to a women’s shelter, so we will have a box by the cubbie check -in area to collect any of your donations.
September 28 Regular Night This week we will move on to Bear Hug 4. We will learn about Gods most important creation…people! We will discover that each of us is unique, special and made in the image of God. Our game time will focus on all that we CAN do because we are wonderfully made!
