September 4th – 7th Literacy Skills: Letters: Aa-Zz (This week we are focusing on Cc and Oo.) High Frequency Words: I, am, a, can, go, is, like, me, see, the, to (This is the list for the first nine weeks.) Phonemic Awareness: We will be working on rhyming.
Math Skills: We are working on Unit 1. We are still focusing on numerals 0-5. (Reading, writing, representing)
- Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on September 24th. There will be no school for students on that day. - Every Wednesday we wear a college shirt.☺ - Don’t forget to send Boxtops. - A few skills your child could practice at home: writing his/her name, writing numbers 0-5, writing letters Cc and Oo.
