Prayer Goals for 2017 1.) Praying for 25 people to be saved/baptized
- (16) through August 2.) Praying for 250 average attendance in Sunday school - (236) through August 3.) Praying for 25 people to commit to Guatemala/Peru Mission Trips - (25) commitments 4.) Praying for 20% of our total offerings to be given to Missions - (24%) through July 450 Faith Dr. Grenada, MS 38901
The Lord has opened many doors for mission opportunities. During the month of September our church wide focus is on our Margaret Lackey State Missions Offering. This offering supports missions and ministries in Mississippi. Our church goal is $7,000. The recent Hurricane in TX and LA has left many people in need. We have joined a community effort to fill a tractor trailer full of supplies to be taken to TX. The trailer is located behind Emmanuel Baptist Church. Drop off your supplies this week from 9-4. You can find a supply list at our Welcome Desk or by calling our church office. Operation Christmas child is in full swing. Be sure to check out the table located in the Welcome Center for ways to help with this ministry. Our Peru team is complete. Beginning praying now for this trip Nov. 2-7. We are already making plans for Guatemala 2018. See Andy Cummings for details. With all the mission opportunities that are available, I encourage you to pray and find your place to serve!!
