Futsal is coming back to LTSC We are very lucky at LTSC to have our very own Futsal expert and Brazilian native Raquel Castilho. Join Raquel this winter in an 8 week program starting on January 9th at LTHS North Campus on Sundays and learn to play soccer the Brazilian way.
Futsal is soccer played with a smaller, heavier ball, where skill and creativity are the ONLY ways to succeed!! Great players such as Ronaldinho and Robinho credit much of their success to playing this game at a young age!! Futsal is essential to the development of the new generation of soccer players!! LTSC has teamed up with the Chicago Fire to organize an LTSC team education night at the Chicago Fire v Kansas City Wizards game on October 12th. This is a fantastic opportunity for every player to watch a live soccer game with their coach and learn about the game and to further their knowledge of what their coach is trying to make them achieve. LTSC has got a special offer on ticket prices for the event and tickets are available for $15, usually $28. For more information please contact your coach and we hope to see you at the game.

Back to School Classic
Barrington Classic
The Boys U11 Premier Liverpool team (below) won the Back to School Classic in Elgin, the boys recovered from a difficult start to the tournament to go on and win the final 3-1.
Congratulations to the Girls U11 Select (below) who were crowned Champions of the Barrington Classic. The team won all their games and beat Barrington in the final. Well done girls and good luck this season.
Goalkeeping Goalkeeping is every week through the fall season with Didi. The schedule is below: Tuesdays at Walker Park U8-11 5-6 / U12-U14 6-7 Wednesdays at Spring Rock

Street Soccer is every Friday from 4-6 between August 20—October 8. Meet Coach Josh at Spring Rock Park for some freestyle games in a FUN environment. Back to School Classic
Congratulations to the Boys U11 Select (left) on winning the Back to School Classic, the boys were playing in the super group and won all 3 group games and went onto win the final 1-0 against Kickers United. Excellent effort boys and good luck for the rest of the season. Thanksgiving 4v4 Tournament

The Thanksgiving 4v4 tournament is not far away, Tuesday November 23rd and Wednesday November 24th. Avoid disappointment and sign-up early as spots fill quickly, registration deadline is November 12th. Sign up through the LTSC website, any questions please contact our tournament cocoordinator Angus Shields at [email protected]
The Academy program started on Friday August 27th . The coaches ensured the kids had a lot of fun and there were smiles all around as they played some exciting games. Everyone is looking forward to the remainder of the program and the coaches are excited to continue to develop the players in this fun and low pressured environment. This program is the introductory level in the LTSC structure where a large focus of the program is on the players having FUN.
FCX Boys Tryouts The date and time for FCX Boys supplemental tryouts has been announced. They will be held at Berens Park, Elmhurst on Sunday September 26th from 6:30-8:30.
Academy Elite
The program is into its fourth week and the players are really enjoying playing. All the coaches have been delighted at the progress the players are making and they are demonstrating some fantastic skills. The 4 v 4 game's on Fridays are a big hit and it is great to see everyone having fun and learning as they do it. The Academy Elite Program is open to all types of soccer players and it provides an opportunity for all levels of recreational soccer players to develop through a format similar to our current travel program.
