SEQUOIA IS DESIGNED TO IMPRESS. Inside the 2017 Sequoia you’ll find incredible comfort with a sophisticated Three-Zone Climate Control System for front and rear passengers, and a premium cabin that seats up to eight, depending on the trim level. If you’re hauling more gear than people, Sequoia’s second- and third-row seats fold flat to reveal 3,400 litres (120.1 cu.ft.) of cargo space. And for added confidence when changing lanes, the available Blind Spot Monitoring9 detects vehicles entering a blind spot on either side, then signals an alert if you attempt to change lanes. There are also Front and Rear Parking Assist Sonars that use sensors to alert you of the position of objects and their proximity to the vehicle. Putting passengers at ease is something Sequoia does best, making every journey even more enjoyable than expected. (7) Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake-system maintenance and tire and road conditions. (8) Smart Stop Technology operates only in the event of certain simultaneous brake and gas pedal applications. When engaged, the system will reduce engine power to help the brakes bring the vehicle to a stop. Factors including speed, road conditions, and driver input can all impact stopping distance. Smart Stop Technology is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving and does not guarantee instant stopping. (9) Do not rely exclusively on the Blind Spot Monitor System. It is not a collision-avoidance system or a substitute for safe and attentive driving. (10) Dynamic Laser Cruise Control is designed to assist the driver and is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving practices. System effectiveness depends on many factors, such as weather, traffic and road conditions.
