Seton Hill University Baseball has prospered through its first 12 years, capturing seven Division titles, two Conference championships, six straight NCAA Tournament appearances & two World Series berths. Camp Instructors
Campers are encouraged to attend all three hitting sessions as we will progressively build off each session with instruction and drills. Besides b eing a great value – 6 hours of hitting for $100 – Campers receive the benefit of being evaluated week to week on their individual performances.

MARC MARIZZALDI - Head Coach

Marizzaldi enters his 13th season heading the Griffin B aseball program, tallying 420 victories for an average of over 35 wins per season. As a five-‐ time conference coach of the year (’06, ’11, ’12, ’13, ’14), the Griffins have amassed seven Division titles, two Conference championships, six NCAA tournament berths and two World Series appearances during his tenure. M arizzaldi’s previous coaching stints include D uquesne University (’01-‐’02), Lakeland College (’99-‐’00) and Baldwin High School (’97-‐’99), as well as two seasons managing the Baldwin American Legion.

DJ CANNON - Asst. Coach Cannon transitioned from the mound to the bench in 2013 taking over the duties of pitching coach for the Griffins. The righthander enjoyed significant success for the crimson and gold from 2008-‐12 winning 12 games with a career ERA of 3.79 in 159 innings. H e fanned 113 batters to just 44 walks and earned WVIAC All-‐Conference honors in 2008.
MICHAEL HOUCK - Asst. Coach Houck enters his 9th year on the SHU staff working with the hitters and infielders. A two-‐time All-‐PAC performer at Bethany College, H ouck served as the head baseball coach at South Fayette high school for three seasons before joining the Seton Hill program.
A Number of the SHU Players will be assisting with instruction and demonstrations throughout the camp
1 Hitting Session --- $45
Space in the camp is limited in order to provide the most individual instruction possible for all players. Participants will be accepted on a first-‐come first-‐serve basis and some players may be turned away. We encourage you to register as early as possible to ensure your spot in the camps……SESSIONS WILL FILL UP QUICKLY!!

After two seasons at Ohlone Junior College, Jossey spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons in the outfield for Seton Hill, posting a career average of .274 with 7 homers and 41 RBI. Jossey serves as the Griffins hitting coach in addition to working with the SHU outfielders.

Camp Registration
Each session will include in-‐depth instruction on swing mechanics and philosophies of hitting used at the collegiate and Major League levels. Campers will work through specific hitting drills and live hitting, as well as receive video analysis of their swings.

All Sessions will run from 10:00 – 12:00 and are held in Sullivan Gymnasium. The facility has two indoor batting cages, two pitching machines, and soft-‐toss & tee areas.

It is recommended that players wear tennis shoes, bring their own bats, helmets if available, and most important, batting gloves…… WE GUARANTEE YOU GET AT LEAST 100 SWINGS A DAY!!
