Join the Seton Hill Softball team for a one-of-a-kind skills clinic. “Books, Bats, Balls, and Barbells” is an ideology centered on the 4 ideals that are the main parts of a studentathlete’s life. Each group will be divided by age and/or position to ensure each girl will be doing relevant drills and skills pertaining to their position. Every group will have a leader to take them to each station as well as answer any questions your daughter may have about Seton Hill, college softball, or being a student athlete. The ‘Bats’ and ‘Balls’ portion of the clinic will be centered on the development of fundamentals gauged to age and skill level. ‘Books’ will include a talk with Coach Bill and/or Coach Maria about presentation of NCAA recruiting guidelines and discussions with some of the SHU softball team in becoming a collegiate student athlete and the importance of keeping up in the classroom. ‘Barbells’ will be an introductory level workout tailored to age introducing standard lifts and agility workouts. It is encouraged to bring a small snack or water, as it is a long day!
