Sew N’ Sew Stitchers Garden - Block #1 Wednesday, November 4th Day Class: 10:00 am to 2:30 pm Materials needed: The background can be made of one fabric or a combination of fabrics that are the same color. Five yards of background material will be needed to complete this quilt. Material Needed: ( all colors are only a suggestion)            

Orange - 6” square Blue - 6”square Pink - 6” square Yellow – 6”x4” square Light Green - 5”x4”square Dark green - 9”x8” square Pink fat quarter (border) Yellow fat quarter (outer border) Blue fat quarter (outer border) Double Size - Quilters Dreams Request Batting 50wt.,40 wt. and/or 12 wt. thread for appliqué (orange, blue, pink, yellow, lt. green, dk. green) 40 wt. thread to match your background fabric

Tools Needed:  Teflon pressing sheet  Trans web fusible/ or double sided paperbacked fusible  Best Press Starch  Air Soluble, Water Soluble or Heat Soluble Marker  Spray glue or glue stick  Seam gauge  18” Ruler or larger  Iron  Small Pressing board  Black sharpie  Applique scissors  Paper scissors  Rotary Cutter and self-healing mat  Sewing notions that you think you will possibly need

Additional sewing supplies maybe needed depending on what you have in your sewing tool box. I try to anticipate all the things that you might need for this class. Thing I thing that I think are part of an essential sewing tool box may not be on your list. Therefore please bring what you think you will need to complete this project.
