Saturday, January 14th Quilt Club at 10:30am (New Year Challenge) Free Sew from 1pm to 5pm (call to reserve your spot) Saturday, January 21st Bag Class with Jessica Pattern Name: The Laura Tote by Schlosser Fabrics This tote has come in the shop, on the arm of a quilter so many times! It is time for us to make it! Suggested Requirements Before Class: Please quilt the front and back of your bag, use pattern instruction. Cut out all bag pieces. Add wonder under to your applique pieces for the Laura girl and have her all cut out and ready to applique. If you are comfortable with applique, applique your Laura girl to your bag. We will be able to divide the class into 2 groups, those that need to complete just the bag portion and those that are appliqueing the bag. The more you have complete prior to class, will aide in your finishing the bag by the end of the day. I anticipate that both groups will finish the bag. If you don't finish, you can arrange to come to the shop on a Free Sew 2nd Saturday in the future and have staff help. Saturday, February 18th Kids Camp from 10am to Noon: This is a short class that offers lots of encouragement to kids that have an interest in sewing. Each student needs to bring a sewing machine (we have a few extra machines and need to know in advance if your planning to borrow) and an adult that can help through the class (the adult can have little to no sewing experience). Friday, March 3rd through Sunday March 5th Judy Niemeyer Class taught by May Gunter Pattern Name: Weathered Windmill by Judy Niemeyer You work through the pattern with May Gunter as your teacher and guide. This is our 3rd time to have May Gunter to our shop. She comes highly recommended, we are honored to have her back. Arrive Friday, March 3rd at 10am Dismiss Sunday, March 5th at noon Instruction with May Gunter will be Friday and Saturday. All meals included.
