We invite you to the Retreat Reception Friday night where you will get to visit and have a Show and Tell of Projects you have made using your PFAFF Machine! Friday and Saturday you can have lunch on your own to relax and shop downtown Fremont, or you can order a box lunch through us (we’ll have some time to shop after lunch). We also have a list of Hotels and Restaurants for you on our website for your lodging and evening meals.

About the Classes

Special Guest Educator

Kevin Conley National Instructor

SVP Worldwide

Kevin has a theory about life and sewing… keep it fun, keep it interesting, keep it creative, and reach your potential. This comes from a lifetime of multi-faceted interests at which he excelled, not the least of which is his ability to connect with people, especially sewers at all events. He has over 40 years in the sewing industry including sewing, quilting, embroidery, and crafts, as well as retail management of 21 stores, merchandise management, management training, writing training manuals and customer service instruction. Kevin engages consumers with his humor and easy, yet professional style in leading events. He loves to share valuable information, tips, and techniques. Kevin’s favorite type of sewing is Quilting, Embroidery, and Home Décor.

Scott Alan Flanagan Creative Center Specialist

Country Traditions

Scott’s quilting journey spans more than 20 years. After graduating from Midland Lutheran College in 2007 he took on the role of Creative Center Coordinator with his main focus on Pfaff Machine Sales and Education and has found a passion for machine embroidery and quilting. When asked what his favorite part of quilting is, his response sums it up, “All of it, from designing, to cutting, to piecing, to quilting, to binding. It is all part of the creative process and by skipping a step it feels as though part of the project is missing."
