FALL AND WINTER SEWING CLASSES 2013 Please note the following information regarding registration and class policies. Payment in advance is required to reserve your place in class (phone registration will reserve your place for only 7 days unless payment is received). Supplies are not included in class fee unless so stated. To achieve the best results, we want to help you select the supplies and fabrics for your projects. 15% discounts will be given on fabrics and notions for the duration of the class. Refunds will be given if cancellation is received 5 days prior to the first class. Classes may be cancelled if a minimum registration is not received and refunds will be given. Sewing machines are furnished in all sit and sew classes unless otherwise noted. Please check the supply list when you register.

Holiday Fabric Greeting Cards

Once again we will make five beautiful yet simple greeting cards by combining card stock and fabric. All you need to bring are paper cutting scissors, a quilting ruler, and a rotary cutter. Trip Around the World

Sewing Guild’s annual fall seminar – Saturday, October 12 in Peoria. Sign up today – you don’t want to be left out. The special speaker this year is of the Londa Rofling. She always has special sewing tips for sweatshirts or other sewing projects.

Notes from Margaret Fall is upon us once again. The children are back in school, the days are a bit shorter, and football is in full swing. Now is the time to sit back, take a deep breath, and consider that sewing project that has been put on the back burner. Lots has been going on these past few months. BERNINA has introduced new bernettes, a machine/embroidery combo, new software, and a new top of the line 880. Watch for more changes and additions from Husqvarna- Viking – convention is mid September. Central Illinois Shop Hop is scheduled for October 11 and 12, 18 and 19. Always a good time is had by all. Gather up all your friends and car pool around central Illinois to see what is new. And don’t forget the Sewing Guilds annual fall event – Sew Special. It is in Peoria on Saturday October 12.
