Determining the home team o
On Saturday, a coin flip prior to each game will determine the home team, the team traveling the furthest makes the call
o
On Sunday, the higher seed will be the home team
Home team will keep the official score book and game start time provided by the umpire
No infield will be taken prior to a game by either team
Games are 5 innings; no new inning will start after 1:45 mins with a hard stop at 2 hours o The final inning is open but subject to the 2 hour hard stop rule o If a game ends tied or if a full inning is not completed due to the hard stop, the score will revert to the last full inning completed with one team ahead o Time limits for the Championship games do not apply but the game may be called for safety reasons or due to darkness. In this event, the tiebreaker rules above apply
A pitcher will receive 5 - 8 warm up pitches and a team 1 minute to warm-up between innings
Team and mound conferences are limited to 30 seconds to keep the game moving
The 10 run-rule is in effect after 4 innings including the championship game
A pitcher may not pitch more than 3 innings per game and no more than 8 innings for the tournament
Once a pitcher is removed from the mound, that pitcher may not pitch again in that game
Winning team will report the final score and innings pitched for both teams to the concession stand after the game on the paper forms provided
Team(s) violating pitching rules or intentionally stalling to allow time to expire will forfeit the game
Seeding for Sunday determined by; win/Loss, head to head, runs allowed, run diff +10, coin flip
Tournament Director has final say on all tournament matters
Leave game balls on the mound when the game is done and HAVE FUN!!!
