The area provides stunning views of the Sierra Madre Range and the North Platte River Valley. The ranch consists of 320 acres of which 160 acres are flood irrigated from the Ernest Ditch which ends on the ranch. Most of the irrigated land is found on moderate slopes towards the center of the ranch made up of brome, redtop, white clover and several native grasses. The ranch has two man made ponds and three streams including the north and south fork of Miner Creek and Hell Creek. The ranch has water rights for 4.47 cfs which date back to 1918. There are intermittent stands of lodge pole pine trees and aspen tree groves spread throughout the ranch. Elevations range from 7,770 feet where the North Fork of Miner Creek leaves the northeast corner to 8,258 feet in the southwest corner.
