Workin’ Green This issue of Denver Life Magazine celebrates “green living,” so naturally we want to highlight a new, local business making a difference. Most companies print more sheets of paper than we can imagine, and Denverbased PrintReleaf recently launched to conquer this issue. They created a concept with PrintFleet; for every 8,333 sheets of paper printed, one tree will be planted in areas across the globe facing deforestation, such as the Dominican Republic or Cameroon. All your business needs is their product, PrintReleaf Exchange, which works with your existing software and documents the paper usage of PrintFleet Vision™ and Enterprise™ customers. Together, PrintFleet and PrintReleaf help sustain forests one sheet of paper at a time. printreleaf.com
WHISKEY TUMBLERS
There’s a new whiskey in town. Wyoming Whiskey, aptly named after its home state, was created by Kate and Brad Mead; both were cattle ranchers, attorneys and whiskey connoisseurs, now turned bourbon distillers. Together with David DeFazio and Master Distiller, Steve Nally, they jumped into the still that is now a growing business. Wyoming Whiskey made its Colorado debut in December 2013 and held a successful party at Session Kitchen in February. The whiskey is currently available in Wyoming, Texas and Colorado, with debuts anticipated in Idaho, Montana and Utah. Now that there is new bourbon on the market, it’s time for Denverites to give it a try. Wyoming’s Big Horn Basin supplies the corn, wheat and barley. The whiskey has a medium body with notes of vanilla, caramel, sweet fruit and a hint of oak, followed by a smooth finish. Check it out at Total Beverage (770 E. 104th Ave., Thornton) and wyomingwhiskey.com
