SIM-A Simplex Control Panel The SIM-A control panels will alert of a high liquid level and control a 120/208/240V single phase pump or a 208/240/480V three phase pump in dewatering, sewage and wastewater pumping applications. The simplex panels include integrated electronic control and alarm circuitry, an IEC motor contactor and three floats: pumpon, pump off, and high liquid alarm. The controls are housed in a NEMA 4X heavy duty polycarbonate enclosure convenient for field wiring Models (Ratings): SIM-A1-1 (0-7 Pump Full Load Amps) SIM-A1-2 (7-15 Pump Full Load Amps) SIM-A1-3 (15-22 Pump Full Load Amps) Features: • Designed to Control One 120/208//240V Pump in Sewage Applications • UL Listed for the United States and Canada (Panel and Controls) • NEMA 4X Panel Enclosure: Heavy Duty Polycarbonate, 10″x8″x4″, Opaque Front • Pump Hand-Off-Auto (H.O.A.) Switch, Green Pump Run Light and Power On Light • IEC Motor Contactor • Includes Three Narrow Angle Float Switches with mounting hardware (standard package) • Red alarm light and 85 decibel alarm horn at 10’ • Test and silence buttons; alarm automatically resets • Dry contact - high liquid alarm (form C)

1. All installations must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code, and any other applicable state and local electrical requirements.
Panel Installation: 1. Caution: To maintain the NEMA 4X rating, make all wiring connections with seal tight cable grips or conduit connections. 2. Determine mounting location for control panel. Mount panel using mounting feet supplied. 3. The control panel should not be mounted in an area that is subject to submersion. 4. Run pump cable and Float cables through conduit. Make field connections as shown on wiring diagram. 5. Run power line conductor through conduit. Wire to terminals per enclosed schematic. Branch circuit protection to be provided by end-user. 6. Connect power conductors 120/208/240 to proper locations on terminal block. 7. Float cables require separate conduit from power and pump cables. 8. Mount float switches at appropriate levels. Be sure that the floats have a free range of motion to prevent entanglement. Start up: 1. When the power is applied, the green power light located on the white front swing panel shall light. 2. The Pump HOA Switch shall be placed to the A (auto) position to ensure the system will pump. The pump can be tested or turned on manually if the HOA switch is in the H (Hand-Manual) position. To test the alarm circuit, push the test button on the side of enclosure, the audible alarm shall sound and the high red beacon will light. Service: Caution: Before checking electrical connections within the control or attempting to replace any components, turn off all branch circuits supplying power to the main control panel.

3 Year Warranty Warranty: See Water® Inc. warrants that products of its manufacture are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. This date shall be determined by the date on the invoice and the serial number on the product. Replacement of the product is at the discretion of See Water Inc. This warranty is valid when the product is installed in compliance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. The manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of any parts found by the manufacturer to be defective, provided that the product is returned to See Water’s factory, postage prepaid with proof of original purchase included. The manufacturer of this warranty shall not be liable under this warranty if the product has not been properly installed; any alterations/additions/changes to the product will result in a void warranty. Failure to properly install and test this product can result in personal injury or equipment malfunction. See Water, Inc. Shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expenses from installation or use of its products.
