APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES: Nathan motioned to approve the minutes, Jordan seconded. ENROLLMENT: 2015-2016: Preschool = 80, Elementary = 146, Total = 226 (no changes)

FUNDRAISING: o Auction, golf, storm run mostly go into the tuition assistance program. Some also goes into technology, but in the past it also helped offset some of the costs of the new building. o Still no plausible method to raise $20,000 through fundraising. Juli has been discussing with Church leadership, and they understand our plight. o Heather is investigating skimming off scrip funds as a potential way to increase revenue—not sure how this will set with families though. AUCTION:  230 tickets sold to the auction, and it netted $42,000. This is the most profitable auction yet.  Suggestions from SLT members: o Encourage use of name tags during the auction. o Benchmark our auction compared to that of Cornerstone. Their auction is April 15, 2016 Also had attendees from Cornerstone at ours. Mentioned our items were well displayed and had a lot positive feedback. o Maybe exclude price from live auction items? o Maybe 50/50 at auction, cooler at the auction too. o Send suggestions to Juli on Auction—she will address with auction committee. FAST DIRECT: Behavior logging component now available. This will make it easier to track behavior issues and will streamline communication should any student transfer to a new school. 8th GRADE FIELD TRIP: o Will be at the Creation Museum June 7-9, 2016. o It’s the busiest time of the year for Chicago tourism, and previous trips to Chicago are very rushed and expensive

o

Will enable students to return in time for the last day of school.

SPORTS: o Had a couple academically ineligible students. This brings 4 students this year so far for academically ineligible. Band, basketball, cheer, soccer. o Students must maintain a C or better in their class to be eligible for Sports at SOTL. o Basketball lost 33-1 to CSA. More than half the players seemed of high school age according to members of STL that were at this game. CSA is in MSHSA. o We should approach the league and request they publish ages and grades of the students. It becomes demoralizing to the students when they are blown out. REGISTRATION: Changes are being considered for staff members registering their children—giving them first dibs. Juli will have more details in the weeks ahead. PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES: Taking place today and tomorrow. Not one teacher requested Juli’s presence at a parent/teacher conference this year—more evidence on how well this school year is progressing. EVALUATIONS: Begin next week—walk through evaluations already complete, and the formal writeups are next week. WRAP-UP: o Closing Prayer: Mike Schutz o Next meeting 12/3 (later skipped until 1/7/16) MEETING ADJOURNED AT 8:20
