DO NOT place ANY important text, images, or cut lines beyond this dotted line. Anything past the dotted line has the potential for being trimmed. This line is provided to prevent trimming of your designs.
Nicks
To prevent cut pieces from falling out of slug, all cut lines must have at least 3 “nicks”. A nick is a break in the cut line that keeps the piece attached to the slug. The recommended nick size is .01” or .25mm. Any pieces without nicks make fall out of slug and lost.
Tips
• All cut lines must be at least 1/8” apart. • Line thickness does not affect the cut line. Lines will be cut only down the center of any vector/line. • Having lines cross could result in pieces becoming disconnected. • Check for duplicate vectors/lines directly on top of each other. Duplicate lines can result in a line being cut twice which can affect edge quality and size.
