Small Groups
Small Groups We believe in the power of small groups. No one reaches their full potential in life without the help of others. True community happens in small groups of believers committed to each other. The Bible commands us in Hebrews 10:24-25 to meet together to motivate each other toward love and good works. Small groups committed to vulnerability and transparency can be places of growth, healing and renewal. Below is a listing of some of the groups that are currently meeting at Bethlehem United Methodist Church or in homes. Opportunities for Women See Women's Ministry Opportunities for Men Monday Morning Men's Group Contact: Charles Baker Day/Time: Mondays, 6:30am-8:00am Location: BUMC Lounge Description: A men’s study that examines various books of the bible for relevance and application to our lives. Current study the book of Isaiah. Monday Morning Men's Group Contact: Mike Spillane Day/Time: Mondays, 6:30am-8:00am Location: BUMC - Room 201 Description: Follows Men with No Regrets, committed to ready the next generation of men to become servant leaders in their homes, churches, workplaces and communities. Tuesday Evening Men's Group Contact: Hartley Miller Day/Time: Tuesdays, 7:00pm-8:30pm Location: BUMC Lounge Description: This men's group will study the book of Ephesians by David Padfield beginning in March.
Friday Morning Men's Group Contact: Richard Broadbooks Day/Time: Mondays, 6:00am to 7:30am Location: BUMC Lounge Description: A men’s in-depth bible study. This groups allows time to explore, question and discuss as they discern how to apply the principles to their lives. Also a support group for each other through life’s challenges, trusting God for direction.

COED Opportunities Sunday Evening COED Group Contact: David Kreh Day/Time: Sunday Evenings, 6:00pm-8:00pm Location: BUMC, Turner Lounge Description: Based on the book If by Mark Batterson. Getting beyond our "If Only" regrets and into our "What If" possibilities. Sunday Afternoon COED Group Contact: Charles Ellis Day/Time: Sunday Afternoons, 12:15pm–1:45pm Location: Mehrten’s Home Description: Weekly small group meeting from September to May for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. Studies are usually topical studies and individual books of the Bible. Tuesday Evening COED Group Contact: Ed Pappas Day/Time: Tuesday Evenings, 7:00pm-8:30pm Location: Contact Ed Pappas Description: Weekly small group will study different books of the bible and alternate with DVD series studies. Wednesday Evening COED Group Contact: Mike Spillane Day/Time: Wednesday Evenings, 7:00pm-8:30pm Location: Gary and Sue Morgan’s house in East Goshen Description: Weekly small group will study different books of the bible and alternate with DVD series studies. Special Interest Groups Dinner-for-8 Contact: Gail Pace Day/Time: January, April, July, and October Location: Varies Description: Groups of 8 people meet to share a meal and fellowship. Meet different people each month, and you'll host a get-together once per year or so. Singles and couples welcome!

Widows Contact: BUMC Office for more information Day/Time: Varies Description: Widows come together for fellowship and support while sharing a meal together.
