Points to Remember: Officer Qualifications: All Candidates must have attended a minimum of five (5) Regular Chapter Meetings (Jan 1 - Sept 30, 2009) All Candidates must have attended at least two (2) of the following (most recent): Chapter Leadership Training; Regional Conference; Cluster Conference, International Leadership Conference; or Boule. 2010 Officers with Specific Guidelines: 1. Basileus & Anti Basileus - Elected Biennially; Must be an Active/Financial PPO Member for 2 years; may NOT Succeed herself. Must attend Chapter's Leadership Development Training and at least two conferences listed above. (Bullet #2) 2. Tamiouchos, Anti-Tamiouchos, Pecunious Grammateus, Anti- Pecunious Grammateus - Elected Annually; Must be Active/Financial PPO Member for 2 Years; may Succeed herself Once. 3. Grammateus, Anti- Grammateus, Epistoleus, Hodegos, Ivy Leaf Reporter, Philacter - Elected Annually; May Succeed herself Once. 4. Nominating Committee - Elected Annually; Three (3) members; must be Active/Financial member for at least twelve (12) consecutive months prior to candidacy.

Soror of the Year nominations must be received before the Nov. 8th election (pg. 56 of PPO Handbook).
A
letter of recommendation is required. No Soror can hold more than one (1) Chapter Office. All Sorors seeking office must submit training and conference attendance documentation. Term of office begins on January 1st thru December 31st. Please note: DELEGATE Elections are during the month of January 2010. Candidates must have paid their Current Year Dues (2010) prior to the January Chapter meeting to be eligible for nomination.

What Do I Do Next - S.I.S.T.E.R.? Self Assessment - Am I qualified? Review the officer duties & qualifications in the chapter handbook, pgs 36-40 Introspection - Consider how you can best serve PPO? What’s your desire, what’s your skill-set? Serve. Not ready now?.....get prepared! Get busy, volunteer to serve on a chapter committee this year, volunteer to lead projects, next year lead a committee. Training – Attend conferences and then go to the workshops and plenary sessions. Check/validate your attendance records/passport/provide your conference credentials. Evaluate – Before next election, see if you’re on track and if not make the necessary adjustments. Run
