Sobeys, Sobeys Urban Fresh and Foodland stores to launch AIR MILES® Reward Program across Ontario Starting March 27th, 2015 you can earn AIR MILES® reward miles in all Sobeys, Sobeys Urban Fresh and Foodland stores across Ontario. Club Sobeys will be replaced by the AIR MILES® Reward Program. Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions to provide more details on this exciting news.
Frequently Asked Questions 1. When are Sobeys, Sobeys Urban Fresh and Foodland stores going to offer AIR MILES ® reward miles to customers? Starting March 27th, customers can begin swiping their AIR MILES® Collector Cards to earn AIR MILES® reward miles in-store at Sobeys, Sobeys Urban Fresh and Foodland stores across Ontario. Customers will also be able to redeem from their AIR MILES® Cash balance for free groceries right at the till. Customers can redeem 95 reward miles for $10 off their purchase. 2. What will happen to the Club Sobeys program? The Club Sobeys program will be replaced by the AIR MILES® Reward Program when AIR MILES® launches in our Ontario stores March 27th. 3. Why change from Club Sobeys to the AIR MILES® Reward Program? The AIR MILES® Reward Program is Canada’s premier coalition loyalty program with over 10 million active Collectors. Collectors can redeem their reward miles for more than 1,200 rewards options, including the Program’s instant redemption feature, AIR MILES® Cash, which will be available at stores where reward miles are issued, including Sobeys, Sobeys Urban Fresh and Foodland. Sobeys and BMO co-branded credit card customers will be asked to switch to the new BMO Sobeys AIR MILES® MasterCard by March 3rd, 2015.

4. Can I continue collecting Club Sobeys points until March 27th? Absolutely! You can collect Club Sobeys points and redeem for Club Sobeys rewards right up to March 26th, the day before the AIR MILES® launch. In addition, starting January 26th, you will have the opportunity to set up a transfer of your Club Sobeys points to AIR MILES® reward miles. More information on transferring points will be available on January 26 th at www.clubsobeys.com/transfer. If you are not an AIR MILES® Collector, sign-up at airmiles.ca/enroll and get started today! 5. What can I do with my Club Sobeys points after March 26th? Starting March 27th, 2015, you will no longer be able to use your Club Sobeys card in-store, but you can redeem for online rewards at clubsobeys.com, or transfer Club Sobeys points to AIR MILES® reward miles until June 30th, 2015. 6. Can my Club Sobeys points be converted to AIR MILES® reward miles? Yes! The Club Sobeys points balance you currently have or earn before March 27th can be transferred to AIR MILES® reward miles. To transfer points, Club Sobeys members must have an AIR MILES ® Collector Card. The simple, online process to transfer your points will be available starting January 26th at clubsobeys.com/transfer. Points will be transferred at a rate of 14 Club Sobeys points = 1 AIR MILES ® reward mile. 7. What if I don’t have an AIR MILES® Collector Card? Getting an AIR MILES® Collector Card is easy. Will Club Sobeys members be automatically registered for an AIR MILES® Collector Card? No. Club Sobeys members must register for an AIR MILES® Collector Card (if they don’t already have one). After registering for an AIR MILES® Collector Card, starting January 26th, Club Sobeys members can transfer their Club Sobeys points to reward miles at clubsobeys.com/transfer. Members will receive 50 BONUS AIR MILES® reward miles if they set up a Club Sobeys transfer before March 27th.

9. How many AIR MILES® reward miles are needed to save on groceries? Customers can redeem 95 reward miles for $10 off their purchase with AIR MILES ® Cash.
10. How much do I have to spend to earn one AIR MILES® reward mile? You can earn one AIR MILES® reward mile for every $20 spent in a week (Sunday to Saturday) in Sobeys and Sobeys Urban Fresh stores, or Foodland stores. Purchases at Sobeys/Sobeys Urban Fresh and Foodland stores cannot be combined to calculate the reward miles total. For example: If you spend $10 on Monday at Sobeys and $10 on Friday at Sobeys Urban Fresh, you will earn one AIR MILES® reward mile. If you spend $10 on Monday at Sobeys and $10 on Friday at Foodland, you will not earn any AIR MILES® reward miles.
Additionally, there will always be special promotions in store where customers can earn Bonus AIR MILES® reward miles.
