Locker Request – Organizations in good standing with the SOC will receive first priority when requesting a locker. This process will be completed online via the Locker Request OrgSync form. The form will open at a posted time and organization requests will be considered in the order they are submitted. Locker space is limited and the submission of a request form does not guarantee an organization a locker. We will consider opening access to all remaining organizations if there is availability after the list of requests from organizations in good standing has been exhausted. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Locker Guidelines – Locker policy may change throughout the year. o Lockers should be kept clean and organized. No weapons or flammable materials may be stored in the lockers and materials may not be placed on top of the lockers. o Only unopened and prepackaged non-perishable food and drink are allowed to be stored in lockers. o Student organizations will not hold the University responsible for property or the loss of property stored in their locker. o Unused or unclaimed lockers may result in the SOC re-allocating the locker to another organization. o This space is to be used for the storage of your organization's materials. This space is NOT to be used for personal storage o An authorized lock will be issued by the SOC. This is the only lock to be used on the locker. Locker keys must remain in the SOC Office and cannot be duplicated. o The locker usage agreement runs from the last Friday in May until the third Friday in April. If a group receives a locker after the regular allocation process, the usage agreement will begin at the time of occupancy and end on third Friday in April. All organizations occupying storage space must re‐apply annually to request storage space.

SOC Locker Policy o

Lockers must be cleaned out by the third Friday in April. Any items remaining after the clean-out date will be disposed of. o There will be a $5.00 replacement fee for damaged or lost locks. Damage to the lockers will be your organization’s responsibility. Fees may change over time. o Only one locker will be awarded per organization. o The SOC reserves the right to inspect all storage spaces at any time. o If a student organization loses its locker storage space for any reason (i.e. loss of registration, violation of policy, failure to stay in good standing, end of the school year, etc.) the group has 72 hours from the time of notification to empty out the storage space. After the 72 hour period has elapsed, the SOC reserves the right to empty the locker and dispose of its contents. Good Standing – To stay in good standing with the Student Organization Center a student organization has to complete several items by the posted deadline. Failure to remain in good standing may result in the loss of access to a locker. o Have an organization representative attend each Student Organization Center (SOC) monthly meeting. o Attend Risk Management Training in the Fall semester and complete all associated paperwork by the posted deadline. o Complete the organization fiscal report each semester by the posted deadline. o Keep the organization registration up-to-date on OrgSync and submit an accurate registration during the posted renewal period at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters.
