Maximum of three Coaches per team – head coach and two assistants. All team Coaches must be registered AYSO volunteers with current safe haven and CDC Concussion certification. At least one volunteer must be coach certified at the U10 level. No non-volunteers will be allowed on the team sideline during games. Each team must also have available a club linesman for each game (to be used as needed at the referee’s discretion), and a volunteer for the skills competition on Saturday between 11:00 and 1:00.
Registration Fee: $120 Per Team Non-AYSO players from region 1103 must submit a completed and signed AYSO Player Registration Form along with $20 National fee prior to being eligible. Once AYSO Player Registration is Accepted, they may then register on a Soccer Slam Team. Additional $50 team fee for any registrations not submitted and paid prior to the registration deadline.

[email protected]. Roster changes after this deadline will only be considered in the case of injury replacements. No roster changes will be allowed after the start of the tournament. The AYSO Registration fee for non-AYSO players is NOT REFUNDABLE. Registration will include a tournament T-shirt and trophy/medals for tournament finishers. If a division does not have at least 3 registered teams, the division may be considered non-viable, and refunds will be issued. If the tournament must be cancelled due to weather, participants will receive their Tshirt and registration package. No weather related refunds will be issued. Games may be delayed or shortened due to weather. Check the official score tent for game times and field locations. Players and Volunteers will be covered by the same AYSO supplemental accident insurance that applies during the season, for information about this policy, or for more information on the tournament, please refer to the regional website at http://www.ayso1103.org. ❖Non-AYSO players within the region may participate by filling out a standard AYSO Player Registration Form prior to the registration deadline and submitting it to the regional registrar (
[email protected]) along with $20 AYSO National Registration Fee. Players from outside the geographic limits of Region 1103 are not eligible at the current time. 3 game guarantee Players will bring a white shirt (home) and a black shirt (away) to wear during tournament play. Shirts must NOT contain inappropriate material: references to drugs, alcohol, elicit behavior, sexual references, demeaning or derogatory remarks, etc. ALL players must wear shin guards completely covered by their socks. Teams may wear uniforms, but may be asked to change colors or wear pennies if color conflicts. Refunds will be provided if there are not enough registrants per Division (there will need to be a minimum of 3 teams per division in order for that division to participate in the tournament). Weather related refunds will not be issued Open Substitution: Substitutions allowed any time the ball is out of bounds (throw-in, corner kick, or goal kick) or after a score or injury, but must be acknowledged by the referee first. Substitutions will not be allowed on field penalties. All Divisions are Co-Ed. Boy goals = 1 point; Girl goals = 2 points All players must play a minimum of 50% of each game. Tournament scoring and tie-breaker guidelines are posted on the regional website; www.ayso1103.org. Halverson Photography will be taking team pictures between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Saturday. There will be a Skills Competition with Cash Prizes to the winners held on Saturday over the noon hour. Call Backs for top finishers in each division will be on Sunday at Noon. Teams from outside AYSO Region 1103 must also supply at least one Referee certified at the level of the team they represent, to officiate at least 4 games over the course of the tournament. Teams may be formed from at most 2 regular season AYSO Teams, unless approved by the tournament coordinator. Approval will not be granted unless team cannot be made viable in any other fashion. A maximum of three U16 players are allowed for any one U14/16 combined team, and a maximum of 3 AYSO Club players for any one U14/16 combined team.

Games will be played 6 vs. 6, Max roster 8 Each team of 6 players must have a minimum of 2 girls and 2 boys playing at ALL times. A team may play down (5 players on field) if this gender requirement cannot be met. Coaches & Referees must ensure that substitutions do not violate this requirement, even for an injury (in which case the team with the injured player would play short if a substitution would violate the gender minimum). Game play will be on a U10 sized field All other rules for play in region 1103 will apply – for example, no slide tackling at any level, No heading in the U10 division, Offside enforced at all levels.

Coaches & Referees must ensure that substitutions do not violate this requirement, even for an injury (in which case the team with the injured player would play short if a substitution would violate the gender minimum). Game play will be on a U8 sized field All other rules for U-08 play in region 1103 will apply – for example, no slide tackling, heading, or offside. No Goal Keepers
