B:
是啊，为了让我们看到日全食，阿拉斯加航空公司延迟起飞了二十五分 钟。 shì a， wèile ràng wǒmen kàndào rìquánshí， A1lāsījiā hángkōnggōngsī yánchí qǐfēi le èrshíwǔ fēnzhōng。 Yes, in order for us to see the total solar eclipse, Alaska Airlines delayed take off by 25 minutes.
A:
你太幸运了，这次的完美日全食可是三百五十年才会发生一次啊。 nǐ tài xìngyùn le， zhècì de wánměi rìquánshí kěshì sānbǎiwǔshí nián cái huì fāshēng yīcì ā。 You're so lucky, this perfect solar eclipse occurs only once every 350 years.
B:
是啊，这次日全食主要在印度尼西亚，我们航班经过的地区刚好是观赏 日全食最棒的位置！ shì a， zhècì rìquánshí zhǔyào zài Yìndùníxīyà， wǒmen hángbān jīngguò de dìqū gānghǎo shì guānshǎng rìquánshí zuìbàng de wèizhi！ Yes, this total solar eclipse was mostly in Indonesia, the area our flight passed through was the best location for viewing the total solar eclipse.

哦，就是太阳光被月亮全部遮住的天文现象，也叫“天狗食日”。 ò， jiùshì tàiyángguāng bèi yuèliàng quánbù zhēzhù de tiānwén xiànxiàng， yě jiào“ tiāngǒu shí rì”。 Oh, it's an astronomical event when all the sunlight is blocked out by the the moon, it's also referred to as "the heavenly dog eats the sun".

天狗食日，我听过这个，原来是同一件事！ tiāngǒu shí rì， wǒ tīng guò zhè ge， yuánlái shì tóngyī jiàn shì！ I've heard about the heavenly dog eats the sun, so it turns out to be the same thing!
B:
没错，那时候的人不知道为什么太阳会突然不见，就认为是天狗把太阳 吃掉了。 méicuò， nà shíhou de rén bù zhīdào wèishénme tàiyáng huì tūrán bùjiàn， jiù rènwéi shì tiāngǒu bǎ tàiyáng chī diào le。 That's right, at that time people didn't know why the sun suddenly disappeared, so they thought that the heavenly dog ate the sun.
