Step 1 — Battery

 Power down, and disconnect from power supply. 

Use your finger to unlock the tab by pressing the slide away from you.



Hold the release slide, while using thumb to apply upward pressure.

Pull the battery off

Step 4 — DVD Drive



Remove two 7mm PH01 screws

Step 5 

Grasp the DVD drive's face plate with your fingers, and pull out.

Step 6 — Keyboard



Within the DVD drive compartment, press on the hole to push the keyboard out of its placement.



The keyboard may need to be loosened on its edges with a plastic spudger.

Step 7

 Carefully pull the keyboard back to expose ribbon connector. 

Using a spudger, or your finger tips, carefully slide the the ribbon keeper open.
