Step 1 — Clock battery 

Place computer on a flat surface

 Make sure to save all your file, shut down computer properly and remove all cords before moving on to the next step

with a screwdriver in hand unscrew the screw holding the cap covering the clock battery



Remove the battery cover

Remove the two screws holding the chip together



Pull the chip out gently
