Step 1 — Battery
Set the phone so the screen is facing down.
Insert the plastic opening tool in the groove located between the body of the phone and the back plate protecting the battery
Pop the white back plate off with the plastic opening tool.
Insert the plastic opening tool in between the battery and the phone body, which is housing the battery.
Use the plastic opening tool to pry up on the side of the battery, then remove the battery and set it aside.

Step 3 — Motherboard
Using the plastic opening tool remove the bottom cover
Using the phillips screwdriver size 0 remove five 5.47 mm trox head screws and one 5.18 mm trox head screw.
